About this cartoon: The mass shootings at a school in Parkland, Florida galvanized young people in the United States in a way that other mass shootings (almost a daily event) hadn't, and student walkouts across the nation seem to be the first time the National Rifle Assn. ever looked at all vulnerable (even as Fox News and such tried to demonize the student survivors). This might be the start of real gun reform if the student's principled protests can translate at the ballot box.
